Instructional Media Project : Research Ethics
Jiin This project began with a literature review and analysis of unethical research practices in Korea, examining both systemic factors and individual-level issues that contribute to ethical violations in academia. We identified key problem areas and proposed practical solutions, emphasizing research ethics education as a preventative measure rather than a reactive response.
Building on this foundation, we designed and produced an instructional video modeled after a popular Korean investigative journalism program, borrowing its visual language and editing style to create an engaging, relatable learning experience. In parallel, we developed a companion website that aggregates key findings from the literature review, the instructional video, and recommended solutions, providing an accessible resource for students, faculty, and researchers interested in strengthening research ethics.ou can visit the website here.
